Bangkok Hospital Pattaya was established on 23rd June 1990 in Pattaya and is one of the 30 hospitals managed by Bangkok Dusit Medical Services, the Bangkok Hospital Group. The hospital is the primary hospital for the Eastern Seaboard of Thailand. Since it first opened, the hospital has developed to have 300 beds and to become a specialized healthcare center that provides every necessary diagnostic and curative services. It has expanded from 5 acres to 9 acres and has added a new 15-story building to the original complex to create a more convenient and comfortable ambiance for their patients.
The hospital has a heart center packed with special diagnostic tools that can analyze the heart to find out its conditions, which includes two catheterization labs for coronary artery angiograms. They also built notorious centers, including the Brain and Neuro-Science Center, Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery Center, Emergency Medical Service Center, and many more. With over 100 specialist and modern advanced medical equipment, the hospital won numerous awards and accreditations, including Joint Commission International (JCI) accreditation, Temos Certification of the Quality in International Patient Care and Excellence in Medical Tourism, IMTJ Medical Travel Awards, and many other awards. As the hospital serves more than 100,000 international patients each year, it provides interpreters for over 20 languages that can assist international patients. Language and cultural training are given to the staff to ensure they can deliver the best service for international patients.
