I have had previously had work done in Bangkok that wasn't as good as this. I will be traveling here to get checks done and I will only be using this clinic and Dr Rang. I did a lot of research on Dental Tourism before deciding to have work done at Bangkok Smile Dental Clinic Sukhumvit 5. I was loath to mention the trip to family and friends due to preconceptions that care was better in Australia. I had 6 visits, 3 complex extractions, 3 crowns, 5 fillings, 2 dental plates, clean, polish and Zoom whitening and I am pleased to report that the experience was better than I could possibly have imagined. After the initial consult and x-rays I was presented with a treatment plan that was detailed with costs involved. A professional explained what the plan meant, what alternatives there were, how long things would take etc. Once a course of treatment was decided I was assigned to 3 Dentists responsible for extractions, fillings and prosthodontics. Each specialist spoke English as well as I did and one of them actually lived and practiced in my home state in Australia. The final cost was about a third of the equivalent cost in Australia, the materials used were the best available with Zirconia crowns fitted. I can wholeheartedly recommend the Smile Dental Clinic Sukhumvit 5 should you need dental care in Bangkok.

Don't know the quality of other dentists but whoever you go to try to avoid DR. ROOT CHUMDERMPADETSUK, I flew overseas to an old clinic they had in Ekkamai and, just to cut story short he ruined my tooth. It was a root canal treatment which has got infected. When I complained about the pain after the procedure about 6 months after he ignored it, saying it was normal, and when I tried to make another appointment he was apparently unavailable most of the time I try to come. Now, when the infection progressed and became apparent on x-ray I have to remove the tooth and place implant as there is nothing it can be done in this case. This guy is roaming around different clinics and BNH hospital so just be aware of that guy.
